Day 1 — Demo and excavation
If there's an existing slab we demo and haul it off. Then we excavate down to the depth we need to fit the base material and the slab. Dust, noise, and a dumpster on site — but it's the loudest day of the project and it's over fast.
Day 2 — Base prep
Crushed rock spread, compacted, and graded. Forms set, edges checked, slope established for drainage. This is the day that determines whether your slab lasts 10 years or 40.
Day 3 — Rebar and pour
Rebar tied into a grid on chairs. Trucks roll in, pour, screed, bull float, edge, broom finish, and cut control joints. Long day for the crew — usually start at sunrise.
Days 4–7 — Cure
We come back to pull forms and check the finish. You can walk on it the next day. Wait 7 days before driving a light vehicle, 28 days for full strength.
What we need from you
Clear access for the concrete truck, water nearby if possible, and someone reachable by phone the morning of the pour. That's it. We handle the rest.
